PADI - ReActivate (Refresher)

Got a bit stale and been out of the water for a while, need to brush up on the basics skills again, this one is for you.

Refresher Course

Refresher Course from The Scuba Doctor

Has it been a long time since you've been scuba diving? Or maybe you learned to scuba dive only a year or so ago and have not dived since your course finished? Perhaps you're planning on going on holiday and are a little unsure about your dive skills? Let the instructors recommended by The Scuba Doctor reactivate you to the wonders of the underwater world!

Perhaps you've only ever dived in warm water tropical locations and need to get used to what's required to adjust to diving in the colder temperate waters here in Melbourne, Victoria. This Refresher Course is just right for that.

The Refresher Course is the perfect way to review and reactivate your dive skills and knowledge before jumping back into the water.

The Fun Part

Brush up on your scuba knowledge and skills. Improve your diving ability, and get your scuba gear ready for your next scuba vacation or diving holiday.

You'll be doing an open water dive in the pristine waters of Melbourne’s Mornington Peninsula.

You course will be a bespoke, one-on-one or one-on-two affair with your personal dive instructor.

What You Learn

The Refresher Course programme is for any certified diver who feels they need to touch up their skills. The 4 main components of the program are:

  • Diving theory
  • Equipment assembly
  • Diving skills
  • Buoyancy

Our Refresher Course programmes are tailored to suit your individual needs so that the amount of time spent on each of these areas can vary depending on your competence and what you want to achieve from the programme.

The Scuba Gear You Use

You use all the basic scuba gear — BCD, Cylinder, Regulator, SPG, Dive Computer, Weight Belt and Wetsuit/Drysuit. You should bring your wetsuit, BCD, regs, weight belt and cylinder, if you have them. If not, you can hire this dive gear from us.

Personal Dive Gear: You will need your own Mask, Snorkel and Fins. Also bring your own Boots, Gloves and Hood if you need them. These are considered to be personal items and are not available for hire.

If you don't have the required gear, check with The Scuba Doctor dive shop about Scuba Equipment Rental and packages offered with this course.
