Cressi Metis Mask and Freediving Snorkel Combo - Camou Blue. The perfect companion for the adventurous spearfisher, freediver, scuba diver or snorkeler, the Cressi Metis Mask and Free Snorkel Combo set lets you seamlessly blend into the ocean environment.
The teardrop-shaped lenses and low volume mask creates an excellent field of view and the soft mount, micro-adjusting buckles make this mask a comfortable and superior fit. The tempered glass lenses and sturdy back strap make this mask durable and versatile.
The snorkel is made from flexible and durable material. Designed to bend if pressured, but spring back to shape, the snorkel will allow you to search caves and crevices, without it impacting the ledges and lifting your mask off your face.
The Cressi Metis Mask and Free Snorkel Combo Set comes in a convenient carry bag.
Cressi Metis Mask
The new Cressi Metis Mask is a two-window mask that is designed for advanced freediving and spearfishing, but is also suitable for scuba diving and snorkelling. The mask is designed to offer an extremely hydrodynamic and compact shape to help divers cut through the water and aid movements in small spaces. The internal volume is minimal and does not require intentional equalising. Lenses are made in tempered glass to ensure shatterproof and scratch resistance.
The double feathered edge skirt is completely made in high-quality silicone, a more comfortable and long-lasting material than the traditional plastic PVC. The silicone skirt allows to be fitted from different kinds of face shapes and ensure a perfect seal. The skirt works in concert with the split strap for an excellent seal on the face.
The Cressi Metis mask strap is also made in silicone and it is a large and wide split design to ensure a tight fit and comfort. The length of the strap is easy to adjust thanks to the simple push of the wide buttoned buckles.
The Metis Mask is equipped with Cressi's easy adjust strap double button buckles and has a wide anatomical silicone rubber split style designed head strap for even dispersion of pressure for increased fit and comfort. The Cressi Metis Mask has an easy to reach one hand nose pocket for ear equalisation. The nose pocket is soft and easy to access to use with two fingers for proper equalization. The nose pocket can be utilised even when wearing thick gloves.

Cressi Free Snorkel
The Cressi Free Snorkel is designed to offer a slightly more ridged alternative to the Cress Corsica while still remaining flexible. Tech Tip
Why Black or Opaque Skirt Diving and Snorkelling Masks Are Better
Clear silicone skirts on diving and snorkelling masks are popular because they minimise the claustrophobic feeling some people get when they wear a mask. Nevertheless, clear skirts actually interfere with vision. Extraneous light entering through the clear skirt makes it more difficult for the eye to focus and causes reflections that obscure vision. Demonstrate this by looking out a window from a lighted room at twilight. You will see better by cupping your hands around your eyes as you press your face to the window. For these reasons, knowledgeable scuba divers, spearos, freedivers, underwater photographers, and snorkellers seeking the best possible vision prefer masks with black or opaque silicone skirts.
