Northern Diver Weight and Trim Harness - S-M. The Northern Diver Weight and Trim Harness is a unique approach to managing weight and buoyancy. Fine tune your weight distribution with this system.
The Northern Diver Weight and Trim Harness has evolved over several years and is now the most comfortable and ergonomic it has ever been. It has a loyal following of technical, commercial and recreational divers who swear by it's ease of use and ability to trim the weight distribution around a diver's body.
Once in use, the weights are securely fastened but can be easily and independently jettisoned if required. The pockets can be used for carrying weights or cargo.
Northern Diver claim you can put 9 kg of lead in each side pocket, but this might require tailor made weights or shot pouches. In practise 6 to 7 kg of lead ingots fits easily. The weights are held securely in place with a sturdy pinch-buckle mechanism.
Around the back of the waist belt there are two trim pockets that can take up to 2 kg each.
On either side of the waist belt there are two easy to access stainless steel D-rings.
Unique to this weight harness, you get twp thigh cargo pockets that clip to each side — very useful if your wetsuit or drysuit doesn't have any pockets. These can be removed when not required.
Northern Diver Weight and Trim Harness Features:
- Shoulder Support
- Quick Weight Dump
- Includes 2 Detachable Thigh Pockets with Drains
- 9 kg (20 lb) Lead Capacity Per Side
- Suitable for either Lead Ingots or Shot Pouches
- Replacement pockets available
Sizes: (measured over a suit)
S / M - 86 - 111 cm chest , 168 - 178 cm height
L / XL - 112 - 137 cm chest, 183 - 193 cm height
