The Cressi Octopus MG Second Stage Regulator is the premium Octopus option available from Cressi. It's the best performing Octopus to use with the Cressi T10-SC and AC25M premium first stage regulators.

Octopus regulator specially designed for the most demanding divers.

The Cressi Octopus MG features a pneumatically balanced valve designed with a Venturi effect adjustment switch, Cressi's patented elliptical membrane diaphragm and patented low-friction lever. The Cressi Octopus MG Balanced regulator air delivery system without injector has an internal heat exchange, cam-lock system to open the case and a body in noise-absorbent techno Polymer. Removable techno Polymer deflector and removable mechanical parts.

Over-sized intake diaphragm for smoother breathing, the best of its kind: 2810 mm2, 12% more than the high range models offered by competitors. Contact plate with Teflon coated cam to reduce friction.

Pneumatic compensation mechanism to guarantee smooth exceptional flow and abundant calibrated air delivery.

Ultralight high range 2nd stage with a mixture of semi-flexible sound-absorbing engineering plastics. Smaller size, 7.5 x 6 cm, only 5% more than the Ellipse and the lightest of all compensator models on the market at just 182 g.

Wide angle pivot cam, enhanced to precisely transmit the inhalation effort with minimum friction with the diaphragm disc. Cam-disc diaphragm-valve mechanism with unprecedented reduced friction.

Cold-heat exchanger located inside the second stage to prevent the air from freezing when diving in cold waters. The Cressi Octopus MG regulator is certified to CE standard Annex B EN 250:2014 for cold water. Ideal for use in southern Australia's temperate waters.

Deflector Dive-Predive without metal parts to personalise the Venturi effect.

Exhalation effort particularly reduced without having to reduce the thickness of the diaphragm. The design of the membrane retention system directs the 100% channelled flow towards the nozzles of the bow, taking advantage of a strong Venturi effect. Also, it works to direct the bubbles away from the diver’s field of vision. Embedded membrane to avoid water infiltration in case of brisk turns or jumps to enter the water.

CE Performance (50m/50 bar):
Initial inhalation effort: 2.40 mbar
Total inhalation labor: 0.02 Joule/L
Maximum exhalation effort: 8.2 mbar
Total exhalation labor: 0.58 Joule/L
Total respiration labor: 0.60 Joule/L

New ultra flexible hose covered in thermoplastic rubber to guarantee resistance to erosion. The regulator hose is extremely light and flexible weighing only 153 g (5.4 oz) with the regulator coming in at 182 g (6.42 oz). The regulator hose and purge cover are in bright yellow colour for easy identification in an out-of-air-emergency.
