Sonar Scubapro Inflator/Ocy to Standard Inflator QD LP Adaptor



The Sonar Scubapro/Tusa (Male) Inflator/Octopus Quick Disconnect to Standard (Female) BCD/Jacket/Inflator Quick Disconnect Low Pressure (LP) Adaptor is used to connect a Scubapro/Tusa low pressure BCD/Jacket/Inflator/Octopus quick disconnect hose to a standard inflator coupling. Thus it connects to the standard quick disconnect connector on a standard BCD/Jacket inflation system.

Converts a Scubapro/Tusa and compatible BCD/jacket/inflator/octopus quick disconnect LP hose into a standard BCD/jacket/inflator quick disconnect LP hose.

Some BCDs come with a BCD inflator unit that is combined with an alternative air source (Octopus) second stage regulator. The manufacturers of such units often use a proprietary coupling so that their special regulator hose can provide the extra air flow that an Octopus requires over a standard inflator hose and still have the quick disconnect features of a standard BCD/Jacket inflator hose.

This male end of this adaptor lets you connect to the non-standard outlet on a ScubaPro Air II, Tusa Duo-Air, Sherwood Gemini, DiveRite RiteSource, H2Odyssea Inflator plus, Atomic Aquatics SS1, Zeagle Octo-Z Breathable and compatible combined inflator/octopus quick disconnect low pressure hose.

The female end of this adaptor accepts the standard male special quick disconnect fittings on most BCDs.
