Sonar Scubapro/Tusa to Apeks Inflator/Ocy QD LP Adaptor

The Sonar Scubapro/Tusa (Male) Inflator/Octopus Quick Disconnect to Apeks/SeaQuest (Female) Inflator/Octopus Quick Disconnect Low Pressure (LP) Adaptor is used to connect a Scubapro/Tusa BCD/Jacket/Inflator/Octopus quick disconnect low pressure hose to an Apeks/SeaQuest inflation and octopus coupling. Thus it connects to the quick disconnect connector on the alternate inflation regulator systems.

Some BCDs come with a BCD/Jacket inflator unit that is combined with an alternative air source (Octopus) second stage regulator. The manufacturers of such units often use a proprietary coupling so that their special regulator hose can provide the extra air flow that an Octopus requires over a standard inflator hose and still have the quick disconnect features of a standard inflator hose.

This male end of this adaptor connects to the non-standard outlet on a ScubaPro Air II, Tusa Duo-Air, Sherwood Gemini, DiveRite RiteSource, H2Odyssea Inflator plus, Atomic Aquatics SS1, Zeagle Octo-Z Breathable and compatible BCD/Jacket/Inflator/Octopus quick disconnect low pressure hose.

The female end of this adaptor accepts the male special quick disconnect fittings on the Apeks Octo Plus, SeaQuest AirSource (including 1, 2 and AirSource3 QD), Zeagle Octo-Plus, Aqualung Air Mic, Mares Air Control, Beauchat Venturi, US Divers Air Mic, Oceanic Air XS and Aeris AirLink and compatible BCDs.
