The Fourth Element Tech Fins are part of their OceanPositive range, using recycled, natural and recyclable materials in the manufacturing of the fins and each pair comes in zero plastic packaging, eliminating plastic waste and reduce impact on the environment.

The Fourth Element Tech Fin is a rugged natural rubber fin featuring a large than standard foot pocket to accommodate drysuit boots and a spring strap for easy donning and doffing. The Fourth Element Tech Fin is available in four sizes of medium, large, X-large and XX-Large.

Utilising natural rubber in a unique density gradient, this fin delivers a comfortable foot pocket combined with optimised stiffness for finning performance. The vented design allows water to flow along the blade reducing drag and fatigue, whilst the stiffening rails and ribs ensure that the blade of the fin is driven through the water to maximise the return on effort.

The Tech Fins were developed with technical divers in mind with a slightly negative buoyancy characteristic but is suitable for all levels of diver looking for a high-performance rubber fin. The wider blade gives manoeuvrability without compromising the power which is there when needed, while the shorter length improves agility and makes stowing the fins for transport more convenient. Spring straps with comfortable heel pads keep the feet securely held in place and these spring straps can be removed and changed easily with everyday tools if required.

The Tech Fins are supplied with a hanging/carrying strap which may be used to attach them to a BCD or harness for carrying, leaving both hands free for climbing ladders or carrying other gear.

Best of all, the natural rubber material of this fin is extremely durable, and all components are recyclable at end of life reducing your footprint on our precious planet.

Fourth Element didn't give their Tech fin a shoe size range as this can be very misleading. The environment that a Fourth Element Tech Fin is used in will tend to dictate the size of fin that you need, for example, do you dive in a warm environment wearing wetsuit boots, or are you walking across pebbled beaches and wearing a dry suit and rigid dry boots? Both forms of footwear may be a size 9, but will take up different amounts of space in the fin foot pocket. Therefore we recommend that you visit your local dive store and try the fins on with your own footwear, just to ensure that you're getting the right fit for your style of diving.
