Experienced in diving, but not familiar with diving in Melbourne, or don't have a buddy available and really want to get in the water for a dive? Then ths is perfect for you!
Our monthly Diving experience is the way to organise a dive and to have a Dive Professional in the water with you guiding you around a local shore dive site showing you what they know and making sure you are safe in the water of an unfamiliar area.
A Dive professional guide will acquaint you with one of the local shore dives here on the Mornington Peninsula so that you feel more comfortable in the local underwater environment after your dive.
A guided dive is for divers of all levels certifications with base experience. It is designed to show you what can be found in the local environment via a fun, relaxed dive, as well as meeting some new buddies along the way.
The Monthly Dive includes a Dive Professional supervised dive in an area (normally a local pier) on the Mornington Peninsula.
PLEASE NOTE:
Victoria Diver - If you have not been in Victorian waters for over a year or you have completed less than 12 dives;
Non-Victorian Diver - If you have done less than 25 dives;
Then you are possibly in need of 1:1 time with a dive professional and should look at a small group booking (4 max) first - this can be booked at a date and time that suits you via the following link:

The Fun Part
You'll be doing an open water dive in the pristine waters of one of Melbourne’s Mornington Peninsula shore sites with a group of like-minded divers, who may become future buddies.
Gain knowledge of one of our local dive sites to improve your ability at spotting marine life at the site.
Guided dives start with meeting your Professional Guide at the shop at the your selected date/time.
The Monthly guided dive is particularly beneficial if you:
- Are an experienced new Diver to our area
- Are a diver who knows the site, but just haven't dived it in a while and want to get familiar with it again
- PLEASE NOTE: If you have not been in Victorian waters for a year or more or have completed under 25 dives you are possibly in need of 1:1 time with a dive professional and should look at a small group booking (4 max) first - this can be booked at a time that suits you/us rather than just monthly.

The Scuba Gear You Use
You use all the basic scuba gear — BCD, Cylinder, Regulator, SPG, Dive Computer, Weight Belt and Wetsuit/Drysuit. You should bring your own wetsuit, BCD, regs, weight belt and cylinder if you have them. If not, you can hire this dive gear from us.
Personal Dive Gear: We can supply Mask, Snorkel and Full Foot Fins, however having your own will make the experience more comfortable. We also recommend Boots, Gloves, Hood and Dive Lights, we do not hire these, however if you don't have these items we have a wide range available for purchase on the day of your dive.
If you don't have the required gear, check with The Scuba Doctor dive shop about Scuba Equipment Rental and packages for this dive.
Monthly Guided Dive Prerequisites
To participate in the Monthly Guided Dive you must:
- Hold and be able to show us your certification as a Scuba Diver via an accepted Scuba Diving Agency
- Be at least 14 years old.
- Have been in Victorian the water within the last 12 months OR Completed a mimimum of 25 dives
