Sonar 9/16-in Male to Apeks/SeaQuest Inflator/Ocy QD LP Adaptor

The Sonar 9/16-18" UNF Male to Apeks/SeaQuest (Female) BCD/Jacket/Inflator/Octopus Quick Disconnect Low Pressure (LP) Adaptor is used to connect a standard regulator hose to an Apeks/SeaQuest combined inflation and octopus coupling adaptor. Thus it connects to the low pressure quick disconnect connector on the inflation and alternate octopus regulator system of compatible BCDs.

Converts a standard LP regulator hose into an Apeks/SeaQuest and compatible combined BCD/jacket/inflator/octopus quick disconnect LP hose.

Some BCDs come with a BCD inflator unit that is combined with an alternative air source (Octopus) second stage regulator. The manufacturers of such units often use a proprietary coupling so that their special regulator hose can provide the extra air flow that an Octopus requires over a standard inflator hose and still have the quick disconnect features of a standard inflator hose.

The 9/16-18" UNF Male end of this low pressure adaptor connects to the female end of a standard regulator hose.

The female end of this adaptor accepts the male special quick disconnect fittings on the Apeks Octo Plus, SeaQuest AirSource (including 1, 2 and AirSource3 QD), Zeagle Octo-Plus, Aqualung Air Mic, Mares Air Control, Beauchat Venturi, US Divers Air Mic, Oceanic Air XS, Aeris AirLink and compatible BCDs.

This adaptor (AH-202) combined with a standard regulator hose and a Sonar Apeks Inflator LP Quick Disconnect to 9/16" Female Apaptor (LH-A) can be used to create a quick disconnect setup for a standard second stage regulator. This is typically used by technical and rebreather divers, especially in sidemount and rebreather setups.
