Cressi Digi 2 Digital Console - SPG + Depth + Temp

KC8000**
Cressi
$399.00

Qty:

The Cressi Digi 2 Digital Console automatically activates when connected to your scuba cylinder and provides a high contrast display of Depth with a range of 0 to 120 metres (0 to 394 ft), Tank Pressure from 0 to 300 bar (0 to 4,350 psi) and Water Temperature from -10°C to +50°C (14°F to 122°F). The digital console also provides Remaining Gas Time in minutes, indicates a Gas Reserve of 50 bars (725 psi), and Maximum Depth of dive.

The Cressi Digi 2 Digital Console is NOT a dive computer.
Think of it as a SPG, Depth gauge, Temperature gauge and Bottom Timer on steroids!

The Cressi Digi-2 Console is for any diver who wants a compact SPG console with clear readings and a smart Remaining Gas Time calculation that works out exactly how much air you have left in minutes based on your depth and breathing rate. This console is designed for the harshest conditions, delivers extremely precise information and is also easy to use.

With a traditional analogue submersible pressure gauge (SPG) as divers we put our trust for one of the most important data sources to our safety, if not the most important, the air pressure of the tank, to an extremely simple and imprecise instrument. The analogue manometer is a copper spiral through which a hole detects the pressure and shows the reading in a sphere by the moving of a needle. The Cressi Digi 2 Console replaces the analogue SPG with a high precision digital SPG instrument that also provides Depth, Maximum Depth, and Water Temperature, as well as other important data of interest to the diver. All with a very contained size and cost.

The Cressi Digi 2 will flash to warn you when the pressure falls below 50 BAR. During your dive this digital console will alternate between showing you the Temperature (set in C° or F°) or you Dive Time. Thus the Digi 2 operates as a Bottom Timer.

Surface Screen (Pre-Dive)
After the launch sequence, the surface screen appears with the following information:

  • Current Cylinder Pressure (set in BAR or PSI)
  • Current Depth (set in m or ft)
  • Maximum Depth reached in the previous dive (set in m or ft)
  • Dive Time (minutes) of the previous dive
    – Temperature (set in C° or F°)
This information appears in rotation on the screen.
  • Battery Status

Dive Screen
Once a depth of 1.2 m is exceeded, the DIGI 2 console will show the following data:

  • Current cylinder pressure (set in BAR or PSI); the number will flash when the pressure falls below 50 BAR
  • Current depth (set in m or ft)
  • Maximum depth (set in m or ft)
  • Dive time (minutes)
    - temperature (set in c° or f°)
This information appears in rotation on the screen
  • Range (minutes): indicates time remaining until the threshold of 50 BAR is reached, calculated from the current depth and based on average air consumption detected in the preceding minutes.
  • Battery status

Surface Screen (Post-Dive)
When the dive is complete, two minutes after reaching the surface (depth < 0.8 m), the DIGI 2 console switches back to surface mode. Then it will show the following information:

  • Current Cylinder Pressure (set in BAR or PSI)
  • Current Depth (set in m or ft)
  • Maximum Depth reached in the previous dive (set in m or ft).
  • Dive Time (minutes) of the previous dive
    – Temperature (set in C° or F°)
This information appears in rotation on the screen
  • Battery Status

The Cressi Digi2 Console is powered by a User-Replaceable CR2450 Battery. The gauge will provide 1000 hours and is equipped with a low battery warning indicator. Under ideal conditions, the battery lasts more than three years with an average of 50 dives a year, or one year with approximately 700 dives. The console switches off automatically after 2 minutes of inactivity when not under pressure. (After the dive, always depressurise the scuba unit.)

The Cressi Digi 2 Console has a Self-Diagnostic Function which will check all gauge functions prior to use for added safety.

The Cressi Digi 2 Gauge console also is equipped with a user-replaceable silicone protective shell that provides impact resistance and comes in multiple colours if you wish to match your gear. The Cressi Digi 2 Console comes with a smart box that allows you to change the units of measure from imperial to metric.

The Cressi Digi 2 gauge console is equipped with an 80 cm (31.5 inch) long 7/16-inch threaded high-pressure rubber hose that can connect to any brand of first stage regulator.

The Cressi Digi 2 Console measures 9.9 x 5.2 x 2.8 cm (3.9 x 2 x 1 inch) and weighs 122 g (4.3 oz). Includes an owner's manual. The console is made in Italy and is covered by a 24-month limited warranty.
