TUSA RS-1001 Regulator - First and Second Stage Set

The Tusa RS-1001 Yoke Regulator Set is the coupling of the Tusa R-1000 First Stage and the Tusa S-0001 Second Stage. It features a balanced diaphragm first stage, and a 2nd stage with a venturi adjustment lever for increased air control. Improved air control and a comfortable mouthpiece help you breathe easier underwater and makes for a more relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Tusa R-1000 1st Stage Regulator

The R-1001 First Stage Regulator features a balanced diaphragm system design and upgraded HP poppet assembly for enhanced reliability. This balanced diaphragm system maintains minimum variation in intermediate pressure in relation to changes-in-residual tank pressure. The balanced diaphragm, first stage regulator is inherently environmentally sealed. The benefit of this type of first stage design is that none of the delicate internal parts are exposed to contaminants such as salt, sand, chlorine or pool acids. These environmental contaminants can cause corrosion and mineral deposits to form on the internal mechanism deteriorating regulator performance.

The first stage feature two high-flow low-pressure ports (LP) to optimise second stage performance for easier breathing. The high flow ports are engineered for the smoothest air delivery possible to the primary and octopus second stages at all tank pressures. The R-1001 First Stage also comes equipped with two standard LP ports with 3/8 threads, and two high pressure port (HP) with 7/16 threads.

Tusa S-0001 2nd Stage Regulator

The Tusa S-12 2nd Stage Regulator features an ortho-conscious silicone mouthpiece for comfort and a diver adjustable sensitivity control to deliver air smoothly with each breath. The "surface" or "dive" control allows the user to set the ease of breathing for varying sections of the dive. The surface position decreases the likelihood of a free flow and also is recommended for cold water diving. In the dive position the control allows the regulator to power assist the diver as they breathe using a venturi effect. The exhaust valve features a large and flexible design for extremely low exhaust resistance. The 2nd Stage is a dependable downstream demand valve design.
