Cressi Superocchio Mask

The Cressi Superocchio Mask is a grand classic in Cressi mask production, which continues to find favour with enthusiasts, even though it has been around for years now.

Great for Underwater Hockey, Spearfishing and Freediving!

The Cressi Superocchio Mask has been satisfying serious freedivers, spearfisherman and scuba enthusiasts for many years. This proven Cressi classic has a small and low profile, low volume hypo-allergenic liquid silicone mask skirt with a hi-tech polymer frame. The all-black silicone skirt has a double feathered edge for a perfect seal on a large number of face types. The all-black silicone skirt also protects the diver's eyes from unwanted back-glare and distractions while spearfishing, making it the only mask to have when on the hunt!

The two tempered glass lenses are situated close to the diver's eyes to increase the field of view in all directions. The silicone mask strap is a wide split strap design for even dispersion of pressure on the face for increased fit and comfort. The strap buckles are quick-adjust buckles which make adjusting the strap fast and easy.

Tech Tip

Why Black or Opaque Skirt Diving and Snorkelling Masks Are Better

Clear silicone skirts on diving and snorkelling masks are popular because they minimise the claustrophobic feeling some people get when they wear a mask. Nevertheless, clear skirts actually interfere with vision. Extraneous light entering through the clear skirt makes it more difficult for the eye to focus and causes reflections that obscure vision. Demonstrate this by looking out a window from a lighted room at twilight. You will see better by cupping your hands around your eyes as you press your face to the window. For these reasons, knowledgeable scuba divers, spearos, freedivers, underwater photographers, and snorkellers seeking the best possible vision prefer masks with black or opaque silicone skirts.
