UV 420 Lens Treatment protects against harmful
high-energy visible (HEV) light and its potential
to damage the Retina. HEV light is not just
present on sunny days, but overcast days as
well. Therefore, it is extremely important to
protect your eyes against UV and HEV light in
all weather conditions when diving.
CRYSTALVIEW OPTICAL GLASS
TUSA's CrystalView Optical Glass lenses provide superior
clarity, colour and transmission of light over standard
glass lenses used in most masks. Up to 15% of available
light can be lost with a standard glass lens due to
impurities and reflectivity. TUSA's CrystalView lenses
with UV/AR treatment transmit up to 95% of available
light to the diver for clear, crisp vision.

Why Black Skirt Diving and Snorkelling Masks Are Better
Clear silicone skirts on diving and snorkelling masks are popular because they minimise the claustrophobic feeling some people get when they wear a mask. Nevertheless, clear skirts actually interfere with vision. Extraneous light entering through the clear skirt makes it more difficult for the eye to focus and causes reflections that obscure vision. Demonstrate this by looking out a window from a lighted room at twilight. You will see better by cupping your hands around your eyes as you press your face to the window. Please Note: Masks fitted with corrective lenses to your specifications are treated as custom made products. They can only be returned if there is a fault with the mask under warranty. They can not be returned if you've ordered the wrong correction values. This is why we strongly recommend you consult your optometrist for their expert guidance to obtain the correct values.
