Horizon SCR Course Extended Range - Level 2

Continue your journey and take your diving to the next level with the extended range (level 2) Horizon SCR Course. Building on the knowledge gained from the level 1 course, the Horizon SCR Extended Range course takes you down to 40 meters and introduces decompression diving. Alongside your instructor, you will gain the training, skills and knowledge to independently plan and conduct safe (up to 25 minutes of decompression) diving using the Mares Horizon semi-closed rebreather (SCR), diving to a maximum depth of 40 metres, using a complete SCR Total Diving System and SCR diving procedures.

Requirements For Completion

• Academic sessions and Final exam 
• Equipment configuration session
• XR Water Fitness Evaluation 
• XR Rescue
• Complete at least one confined water skill development session with a minimum cumulative time of at least one hour  
• Complete at least six open water training dives 
• Complete at least 420 minutes of in-water runtime on the Mares Horizon SCR unit.
